d. Tilting Piston Replacement
1) Disconnect compressed air supply from the dryer.
2) Tilt, then level the dryer to exhaust as much air as possible.
3) Disengage "EMERGENCY STOP" (E-Stop)...
Discontinue electric service to the dryer.
4) Remove the six (6) screws holding the
piston cover plate.
5) Label the air lines as an aid when
reconnecting.
6) Loosen the 3/8" compression fittings...
Remove the air lines.
7) Remove the 3/8" straight connector.
8) Remove the 3/8" elbow.
9) Carefully remove the E-Clips from
the clevis pins.
10) Remove clevis pins.
11) Loosen the bottom set screw in the piston rod eye.
12) Unscrew the piston rod eye from the tilting piston.
13) To install new tilting piston, reverse above procedure.
