8 Click Save. A message appears that the user was added successfully.
Adding an OSN subscriber
To add an OSN subscriber to a domain or subdomain
1 Click the Domains option.
2 Select a domain (or a subdomain of a domain).
3 Click the User > Add User sub menu option. The Add new user window
appears.
4 Enter a name for the OSN subscriber (for example, guarddeskA).
5 Enter and confirm a password for the OSN subscriber (required).
6 Enter additional information for the OSN subscriber (optional).
7 Click Save. A message appears that the user was added successfully.
Using the SIP Personal Agent to route 911 emergency
notifications
The instant message sent to the Guard Desk is provisioned through the Personal
Agent just as you would if you wanted to push a web page back to the originator
while the terminator is being alerted.
Use the SIP Personal Agent to add a new rule to the emergency subscriber’s Call
Manager route list.
Setting up a route list for the emergency subscriber
To set up a route and ring list to send an IM to a specific OSN location and to call
an emergency number at the same time
1 Log in to the SIP Personal Agent.
2 Click the Call Manager icon on the left of the SIP Personal Agent screen.
