Adjusting volume
Turn to the right: Increases the volume.
Turn to the left: Decreases the volume.
ATTENTION
Press the [MUTE/Area Shot] button for less
than one second to cut the volume or restore it
instantly.
Switching Rotary Modes
The function of the [VOL] button can be switched.
When rotary mode is set to ON, the [VOL] button
can be switched from normal volume adjustment
to the following functions:

Rotary mode will switch ON. When
rotary mode is set to ON, the rotary
indicator will be displayed as follows.
If the [MODE] button is pressed again,
or if no operations are performed for
more than 10 seconds, rotary mode
will be canceled.
Creating a shortcut
Create a shortcut for frequently-used functions
so that they can be recalled with a single
operation.
A shortcut can be created for one of the following
MENU mode adjustment functions: sound
adjustment mode, display adjustment mode, or
function mode.

mode for more information on switching them.

A shortcut is created. If the [CUSTOM/
MENU] button is held for less than one
second, the previously set adjustment
function will be recalled.
ATTENTION
If you attempt to create a shortcut for an
invalid hierarchy, the system will beep twice
when [CUSTOM/MENU] button is pressed
for more than one second.
It may not be possible to operate the
shortcut function in certain audio modes or
due to other system settings. In this case,
the system will beep twice when [CUSTOM/
MENU] button is pressed.
