COMPATIBLE PORTABLE PLAYERS
The docking entertainment system is compatible with all the existing Apple
iPod models with 30-pin connector: iPod touch (8GB, 16GB), iPod classic
(80GB, 160GB), iPod video (30GB, 60GB, 80GB), and iPod nano generation 1 to
3.

Remove the top cover of dock.

Snap the compatible iPod into the dock connector.

Press SOURCE repeatedly to switch on the iPod mode.
Make sure that you have powered on Apple iPod before selecting iPod source.
On the DC185’s display, “iPod” is displayed when iPod is connected.

he connected iPod player will play automatically.
Notes:
By using the buttons ( 2; , ¡1, 2™ and VOLUME ) on the DC185, the following
playback features are available: Play/Pause, selecting next/previous track, and
changing volume.
The buttons ( 2; , ¡1, 2™ and VOLUME ) on the DC185 can work only with
playback of the audio contents stored on the docked player.
To navigate the iPod menu, you may use iPod MENU,
¡1 / 2™
and 2; buttons
on the set.
For iPod operations and features, refer to the user manual of your iPod player.
This set does not support iPod video output.
